I love Lotus! Our aging cat was quite ill, and I didn’t want to take him to a traditional vet in the times of COVID, so we decided to give Lotus a try. They brought a van to see Foggy in because of the current situation, and since then, we have communicated primarily by email. They are kind, up front with costs, and (best of all), our kitty is feeling better. Thanks!

Amazing!!!!! My cat was slowing down and I didn’t have the heart to just drop her off at her vet and have her be stressed. These people are wonderful! They saw Chelsea the next day and were kind and gentle with her. They did lab work and gave her fluids and the whole exam took about 30 minutes. I don’t think I will ever go back to an office vet. The doctor and his assistant were professional, kind and communicative. It wasn’t that expensive either..... WIN WIN.....

I had the most amazing experience with Lotus.

After almost 16 amazing years, it was time for my darling beagle Parker to move on. Dr. Dasho (Seth) did an in-home visit, and I was terrified and anxious and an absolute mess. He and his assistant were the epitome of calm, professional, empathetic and soothing.

Dr. Dasho was so careful to explain how things would work in such detail, and to make my options so clear, that it took all of the anxiety out of the situation. I was able to make decisions with a clear head and say goodbye to the little furry love of my life in the most gentle, peaceful way.

I was a wreck, don’t get me wrong. It was HARD. But the good people at Lotus did everything they could to make the event the “least bad” it could be, and it made a huge different in those precious last moments I had with my little guy.

Also, the pre-work they did with me (via Debra, who was really super and such a pleasure to work with) as well as the follow up (which, as a courtesy to give me space to mourn, they waited a week to do) were top notch. I cannot recommend these folks enough.

If they were this amazing carefully guiding me through these final days for my little love, I can just imagine how amazing they are as every-day in-home vets. When I’m ready to get another pup, they will be on my short list of vets to provide ongoing care.

Rachael was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate in a very tough time. Our sweet pup had been diagnosed with a rough cancer and Rachael immediately put him on a great regimen of herbs and Chinese medicines along with a special
diet which I am sure extended our pups time. Her house calls allowed us to monitor his health in a very low stress way and helped to keep him comfortable. I highly recommend her service.

Dr Seth is the most professional and punctual vet we’ve ever had. He’s been with our husky since he was a pup. He comes to your home and you can avoid the pet hospital bureaucracy for most of the time. Usually, he brings in another assistant to help with comforting the pet. We’ve moved twice and Lotus Office has always been very cooperative and organized with forwarding the paperwork to us. From detangling fluff knots, giving regular vaccinations, taking samples and running tests, doing check-ups, etc., Dr Seth has always given only what’s needed and kept costs down as much as possible. I wish all my dogs in the past had access to Lotus Vet.

Dr Seth and Susan were pure empathy and kindness on what was an already difficult day.
We were profoundly moved by their compassion and patience with our process, and we are deeply grateful for that.
What was a painful and difficult decision, was facilitated so beautifully by the experience of being supported in such a tender and loving way, throughout our process.
Many thanks for helping to make our boy’s transition peaceful and dignified.

It’s such a relief to be able to rely on Lotus Vets. I have 4 Pomeranians and 2 of them do not travel well. So I really appreciate having vets who do house calls.

Dr Seth is our vet. All of my dogs’ needs (vaccinations and treatment for illnesses) have been handled wonderfully. I am very pleased with Lotus Vets. Dr Seth is the touchstone for my pups’ health. If I have a question, but don’t necessarily need an appointment, I can reach him through email, send pics, and get his opinion. So nice, so reassuring, to have that option. Then, if I do need an appointment, I can usually get one the same day.

I also want to mention the lady who books the appointments, Debra. I can honestly say, I think she has the nicest manners of anyone in the world! She always says “thank you kindly.” Who says that anymore? It’s the nicest, kindest phrase! It’s always heartwarming to book an appointment with her, especially when one of my pups is sick. It’s such a horrible feeling when your pet is sick, and Debra is so calming. You can tell she genuinely cares.

Anyways, I wholeheartedly recommend Lotus Vets. They give me such peace of mind.

Dr. Rachel and her whole team have been very professional and extremely caring with both my 7-year old dog Dexter and my 18-year-old cat Sam. Sam has severe arthritis in his knees and one elbow. He gets acupuncture and cold laser therapy every two weeks. After a few months of this, he moves up and down the stairs easily and can jump on the bed again. When Dr. Rachel come in, he goes right up to her and sits down - no coaxing or restraint needed. She also took the time to understand Dexter and his life before recommending some vaccines as important and others as less necessary, I appreciate that attention to detail. I feel good that they get such excellent, individualized care and that it is their own stress-free environment. The staff also makes billing, scheduling and communication very easy.

“I am so impressed with Lotus Vet and the incredible staff. The team is always so responsive and committed to both owner and pets. My dog Castor was doing pretty bad—not able to get around/low energy/poor diet. And the staff, especially Dr. Seth Dasho were amazing at getting Castro up and running again. It was like a new lease on life. Dr. Dasho not only took his time with Castro but explained everything he was doing and why. He asked many questions to ensure he had a thorough understanding of what was going on with my dog. He would email me every so often to check in on how Castro was doing and always followed up on any new regimen. What a wonderful doctor who is kind and so gentle. I am indebted to Lotus Vet and the wonderful staff – especially Dr. Feigenbaum and Dr. Dasho.”

Dr. Seth is a kind and thoughtful Veterinary doctor. I met him recently when Dr. Feigenbaum was out on maternity leave and my 20 year old was in need of compassionate end of life care. The office was quick to find a time for Dr. Seth and Susan (the Vet tech) to come to my home. Dr. Seth did not know me or my precious cat and took the time to really assess what was happening, what he saw, but also what I thought what was going on. He let me know he was not rushed and didn’t want me to feel rushed in the difficult decision I was about to make. I could tell he was very sensitive to her needs, watching her and trying to determine what was needed. It was quite moving to see him interact with her during her difficult time. He clearly LOVES animals and is great with them but also with their owners. While this was a difficult day, it was made better by knowing she was in good hands, with caring people who had her best interest in mind and who were so supportive of me as well. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Seth and the Lotus Veterinary House Calls team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for at home vet care for their pet.

I can’t say enough good things about Rachael Feigenbaum. Rachael was recommended to me by my neighbor - a dog walker - because she is a house call vet. My sick little KitKat was diagnosed with IBD/lymphoma and she hated going to the vet clinic. In my effort to make her life as calm, loving and stress-free as possible, we embarked on a relationship with Lotus and Rachael Feigenbaum.

The journey with Rachael Feigenbaum (Lotus) was the best I could have hoped for. When we take an animal into our lives, it’s a contract that we will take care of them throughout their lives. Rachael was an impressive and welcome partner in the care of my little best friend. She has deep knowledge, expertise and experience with veterinary and medical protocols. She welcomes and integrates alternative approaches. She takes all the time that is needed. Rachael thinks, adapts and adopts to each situation expertly and with compassion. She listened — not just to me but to my little animal.

My two dogs would not be alive without the excellent Dr. Feigenbaum. Three years ago, Cocoa could hardly walk. Her doctor said she had arthritis and kept increasing anti-inflammatory drugs. This had been going on for over a year. Dr. Feigenbaum took one look at her and knew there was a thyroid problem. Today Cocoa is 14, playful and extremely active. She fetches sticks, plays with her toys and takes a walk every day. My other dog, Trixie, has epilepsy. Dr. Feigenbaum has helped me manage her disease through a combination of traditional medications, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, etc. At one time I was close to putting Trixie down because she seemed to be failing, but Dr. Feigenbaum realized she was reacting to her bromide medication and restored her back to health. I have complete trust in her ability to do what is right for my doggies.

The diagnosis of our dog’s hemangiosarcoma hit like a ton of bricks. It’s a very aggressive cancer with a grim prognosis on survival rate. We were told by the vet we were seeing that post-splenectomy, we could expect 19 days to 3 months time. We chose to forego chemotherapy (reduced quality of life for little increase on quantity), and were told to return when it was time to put our boy down. I couldn’t believe there was nothing else we could do between diagnosis and death…and I was right. We were lucky enough to find Rachael. She guided us through transitioning our dog’s diet to help him fight the cancer for as long as he could, and aided us in the appropriate selection of supplements and herbs. She administered acupuncture on a regular basis to help our dog keep his energy levels high and immune system strong. We enjoyed over five months time with our fur friend before he passed, and those days were rich and full of wonderful memories for us. Rachael became an integral part of our circle during that time, and was brilliant at connecting with both us and our dog. When it was time to euthanize him, she came to our home and we were grateful for a flawless and peaceful passing. Rachael took care of all details surrounding that day, allowing us to focus our energy on grieving together as a family over the loss of our best friend. When we’re ready to open our hearts to a new dog, we look forward to having Rachael as its vet.

I was skeptical that acupuncture could really help my dog Lassie who was past 12 years old and had been diagnosed with spinal arthritis. But between the acupuncture (about 7 visits) and the homeopathic meds Dr. Rachel Feigenbaum suggested, Lassie is no longer limping! It isn’t cheap, but then again, surgery costs more (I know, because Lassie had an ACL repair 2 years before). And Rachel is such a sweetie! She really worked around my dog’s fear of practitioners. Lassie, ever the biatch, still barked and growled everytime Rachel came for a visit, but I was able to cradle Lassie’s head in my lap while she got “needled” and soothe her – if I had left her in a regular clinic no doubt she would have been muzzled for her treatments. Rachel gets 5 stars in my book!
